building better lives for our community members.
The Wescom Foundation is a charitable foundation created in 1999 by Wescom Credit Union employees with the goal of making Southern California a better place through employee and member volunteerism and investment.
Inspired by the Credit Union’s origin as an alternative to traditional banking for telecommunications workers, the Foundation strives to build connections – between employees, members, and the communities we serve – in order to build better lives for all Southern Californians together.
The 2019 Wescom Foundation Annual Report is a comprehensive report on the Foundation’s nonprofit support and activities throughout the year.
Unfortunately, in light of the current health climate, all remaining 2021 Wescom Foundation events have been postponed or cancelled as a precautionary measure against the risk and spread of COVID-19. Still, our doors remain open for a visit at any one of our 24 branch locations throughout SoCal. We have adjusted our engagement protocols in adherence with best practices for social distancing.
