Direct Deposit

The easiest, fastest, and most convenient way to deposit your paycheck.

We Get It to You Faster

With Direct Deposit, your money is there when you expect it. Now Wescom members may receive their direct deposit funds up to two days sooner than before!*

Access Funds Up to Two Days Sooner*

As soon as the funds post to your account, you’ll be able to withdraw cash, pay bills, transfer funds and more. This includes funds that post from Direct Deposits, Payroll Deposits, Social Security, and other Government Payments. Here’s how we do it:

  1. Your employer or payer processes deposits through their financial institution to the Federal Reserve with information that includes dollar amount and “settlement date” (when funds should post to your Wescom account).
  2. The Federal Reserve sends files to Wescom to let us know that the payment is coming.
  3. Wescom immediately deposits the funds into your account once we’re notified, making the funds available to you right away.

*Early access to your direct deposit of funds is not guaranteed and is dependent on the timing of notification by the payer. Wescom will post your direct deposit when notification is received, regardless of the settlement date. Wescom does not control when the notification is received.

Setting up Direct Deposit

To sign up for Direct Deposit of your next paycheck, retirement check, government check, or other recurring deposit to your Wescom account, follow these easy steps:

  1. Download and print our Direct Deposit Authorization Form
  2. On the form, provide:
    • Your name.
    • Your Social Security Number.
    • The number of the Wescom account into which you want your check electronically deposited.

Checking

If you want your entire check deposited into your primary checking account, indicate Checking on the form and provide your account information.

Be sure to include your primary six-digit account number, your checking ID number, AND the special clearing number. Alternately, you can attach one of your voided checks.

Savings

If you want your entire check deposited into your savings account, indicate Savings on the form and provide your primary Wescom account number and your individual savings ID number. If your primary account number has less than six digits, be sure to place leading zeroes (0) to make six digits.

For example, if your account number is 678, you would enter 000678.

Combinations

If you want your deposit split between two or more Wescom accounts, or if you want a portion of your check sent to another financial institution, call us at 1-888-4WESCOM (1-888-493-7266) after your first Direct Deposit is made. We'll set up the fund transfers according to your wishes.
